Biography: Ingrid Roche is high school Spanish teacher at Boston Latin Academy and a film aficionado. She has worked in Boston Public Schools for 10 years holding various positions such as: Spanish instructor, French instructor, Technology instructor, and ESL instructor. Through recent work with Boston Tech and the Institute of Contemporary Art, she's doing her best to learn how to instruct kids to create art using video. This year she's been working on projects in which students created short sketches in Spanish demonstrating their ability to use Spanish, the camera, and to video edit...This has not been an easy task- special note- Ingrid has a penchant for taking on tasks that turn out to be a lot more challenging than expected!
Area of Concentration: Collaborative project with Adobe Youth Voices- creating short films with students in Spanish.
