THE RLA/Y 2008 DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED!

The deadline for submitting to the 5th Youth Edition Roxbury Literary Annual has been extended to December 14th.

We are asking that you email, fax, drop off or mail your submission no later than December 14th, 2007. Email submissions should be sent to Terri Brown at tbrown@madison-park.org and put RLA submission in the subject line. Send all snail mail submissions to:

SUBMISSION INFORMATION - NO ENTRY FEE
Deadline for February show: received by January 4, 2008
(PLEASE do not wait until the deadline--if your film is completed now, send it to us!)

Formats accepted: VHS, DVD, mini-DV (PLEASE label with contact info & film length)

Maximum length: 20 minutes

All categories accepted: documentary, fiction, experimental, music video, etc.

Age limit: 19 (filmmaker must have been 19 or under when film was made)

Work produced within the last 3 years

CCTV Free Speech Shorts

CALL FOR ENTRIES

The Free Speech Shorts Video Festival is an event explore First Amendment ideals of free speech and free expression by showcasing selected video works submitted by people in Cambridge and the Greater Boston area. CCTV is accepting entries for its 2nd Annual Free Speech Shorts Video Festival! Entries should be innovative, provide an alternative voice, and be original in content. Submissions should be 10 minutes or less and may be in any style, language* or genre. Submissions must be received by Wednesday, December 12. All are encouraged to submit. There is no cost to submit or to screen (if your video is selected). The event includes a screening that will be held on January 30, 2008. No admission will be charged for the screening, as this is a free event and open to the public.

SUBMISSION DETAILS

o Submit a DVD with the Submission Agreement Form
o Total running time must be 10 minutes or less
o Entries in other language must have English subtitles*
o Clearly mark each tape with: the Production Title, Producer’s name, Category for Submissions, and exact running time
o This year’s Categories for Submission are: Documentary, Non-Documentary, Youth Documentary, and Youth Non-Documentary
o Read and sign the Submission Agreement- to be posted soon!
o Submit material to: CCTV's 2nd Annual Free Speech Shorts Video Festival, c/o Cambridge Community Television 675 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge MA 02139
o Submissions must be received by Wednesday, December 12, 2007
o Submitted tapes can be picked up at the station for one week after the Festival. Tapes not picked up by the producer become the property of CCTV. Producers retain all rights to their work.
