PBS Report on Teachers and Digital Media

Teachers are increasingly positive in their use, acceptance and attitudes
toward digital media and social networking, according to the seventh
annual PBS survey on media and technology use. The findings for pre-K teachers—
surveyed this year for the first time—mirror the strong interest of K–12
teachers in digital media and social networking.

There has always been technological change (printing press, photography, film, etc.). I believe the recent PBS Frontline exposé Digital Nation, is attempting to address how technology is changing society, from passive consumers to active producers and continuous learners.  read more »
