Co-sponsored by:

* John D. O'Bryant African-America Institute at Northeastern University
* Organizers Collaborative
The Technology 2.0: "Yes, We Can!" day-long conference is a collaboration focused on demystifying web 2.0 technologies for individuals, families, community organizations, non-profits, community technology service providers, and entrepreneurs.
The conference is an effort to give attendees a broad exposure and
overview of how some of the latest innovations in web technology can be used to enhance and empower their work and their lives. The conference will include the latest in social networking tools, cable access, blogging, video/image sharing, mobile phones, virtual worlds, mapping, and wikis.
Participants will leave with an understanding of which technologies are readily available to them now; community organizations/non-profits and technology centers will find a renewed mandate and the community of technology practitioners can be encouraged to employ new technologies in their efforts.
The conference will be videotaped and made available for broadcast to other cable access channels. And available online to technology centers and individuals.
