Comic Life?

Does anyone know of any free software similar to comic life? I would love to use some type of comic software with my students this year but the school has no money for buying multiple licenses for software. I have a media center with about 21 computers. If anyone knows of any type of free software like this please forward me the info. Thanks.

I've never used it, but from what I've read, it might be just what you are looking for.
